Exclusive Private View: Constable, Gainsborough, Turner and the Making of Landscape

Gardener’s World subscribers are invited to an exclusive private view of Constable, Gainsborough, Turner and the Making of Landscape at the Royal Academy of Arts, London on Thursday 17 January 2013, 6.30-9pm.

The exhibition celebrates the achievements of three artists who profoundly influenced the development of British landscape painting; John Constable RA, Thomas Gainsborough RA and JMW Turner RA.

Among the iconic works on display there will be fascinating archival material; from Turner’s watercolour box and Constable’s palette to insightful letters by Gainsborough, allowing you to connect even more closely with the artists behind the work.

Your exclusive evening:
• At this private event, you will have the galleries to yourselves, to explore at your leisure.
• Your evening will start at 6.30pm with a drink and nibbles reception in the galleries. Evening ends at 9pm.
• A welcome talk from Gardeners’ World Magazine and an expert from the Royal Academy of Arts. Each guest will also receive a complimentary exhibition poster worth £4.95
