Child Hood – The Real Event
A partnership between Kids Company and the Royal Academy of Arts
13 June—22 July 2012
In Burlington Gardens
12–6pm Tuesday to Sunday; free entry

Set against the backdrop of the 2012 Olympics, this exhibition explores the real challenges and triumphs experienced by children living in the forgotten landscape of urban London.
Paintings, poetry and sculpture created by children and young people from Kids Company are displayed in the main galleries of 6 Burlington Gardens, celebrating the small heroisms and sometimes difficult hurdles these children face in growing up.
This exhibition includes interactive elements and features a complementary programme of events for both adults and families.
