Organised with the National Gallery of Australia
The National Gallery of Australia is proud to have worked closely in partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts to present ‘Australia’, which surveys more than 200 years of Australian land and landscape art. This exhibition supports our goal to promote Australia’s strong visual arts tradition to international audiences. We are delighted that more than half the works featured in this exhibition come from the National Gallery of Australia, which has the largest and most balanced collection of Australian art. The National Gallery of Australia would like to thank the Royal Academy of Arts, the Australian Government, our Honorary Exhibition Circle Patrons, our sponsors and other Australian and British lending institutions for their generous support.
