Inspiration: The most important influences on me were from Diane Arbus and William Klein. Arbus took photos of the extremes of society, which I tried to incorparate into my photographs, Klein was less specific in his shoots, and just went to an area and took photos of the people he found there, choosing the ones that best described the place afterwards.

Description: This photo was taken in Times Square in New York. The only requirements for the photo were that it shows what the place was like. After taking the photos, I made them all monochrome and square to make them all equal, and ensure that none stand out as more important than the others.
