Inspiration: I use art to express myself and capture all the feelings I have in the moment. I haven't had a typical life in the past, and neither do I have one now; So the way i cope is by expressing myself through art to convey the emotions of my confused mind, as well as creating a piece that had a beautiful or captivating meaning behind it. I don't like to do the 'ordinary' I prefer to do things a little different or weird so they stand out, Just like me. I've always done strange work, I believe that some that is out of the ordinary is much more beautiful than something you'd be more likely to see, also being quite strange is a little risky, but I love that. Sometimes other artist influence me slightly and by using my contextual understand of many artists I can then be able to create pieces that combine them all, but usually I honestly love to draw what I feel like and what comes out from the top of my head, I think that's when I work best.

Description: Mermaid's have always been beautiful mythical creatures, that are sometimes seen to women and men as the species of perfection with characteristics normal females couldn't pursue. Personally I've always though mermaid's are beautiful from what we have seen of them, therefore I have created a piece when I have transformed myself into a mermaid. The fishes in the background accentuate the beauty and colours of the mermaid. The reason the mermaid is in a fishing net is to show the true fascination of these mythological creature cannot be captured even though us human's always try to capture and retain abnormal species or discoveries; as scientist love to experiment. This also relates to the fishing accident's that occur that kill our beautiful creatures such as dolphins, therefore I wanted to bring that aspect in as well to show an understanding of what how man can affect beautiful creatures of the sea.
