Inspiration: I enjoy working with 3D materials and processes and am particularly fascinated by the work of British artist Chris Gilmour. I like the idea of taking an everyday disposable material such as cardboard and turning it into something of interest.

Title: Senior fancy pants

Description: This piece of work was inspired by the starting point of Boxes. Having researched the theme I came across a robot that is stylized to look like amazon packaging. I liked the idea of taking an everyday material such as cardboard and turning into an artwork. I have created a character through the accessories I have added; a top hat, a bow tie, and an eye piece creating a 'fancy robot' which really caught the attention of students around school.
