Inspiration: I have always been inspired by other artists and the way they work, degas has been a particular influence, with his dappled and tertiary colours. As far as subject matter goes, self portrait has been particularly intriguing; the challenges of drawing or painting yourself are numerous. I like to be challenged in my work , this is often why I undertake quite ambitious and realistic pieces. As an aspiring Architect and Artist I believe that art and architecture are entwined and hope to explore this theme in the future.
