Inspiration: I started oil painting about a year ago. I love the rhythm and freedom of laying marks down on a blank piece of canvas. I can't pinpoint an exact source of influence on my work, however I would say I am inspired to create by Adrian Ghenie, Michael Borremans, Gerhard Richter, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Right now my goal is to experiment with as many different concepts and styles to see what fits me best.
