Inspiration: I have various interests within the medium of photography; I like the freedom of being able to explore different themes and techniques to create a unique concept through my own interpretation. I have found inspiration from artists such as: Ansel Adams, Ryan Mcginley, Alexey Titarenko, David Benjamin Sherry, Pierre Pellegrini, and Brian Yen. Their work has caught my attention in different ways and helped build the foundations from which my work has progressed. More recently my interests have been within ‘movement’ in urban environments and also drawing with light; I explored this through the experimentation of slow exposures. I have also recently been looking at formal elements within photography, specifically the effect of line and texture within a photograph.
