Inspiration: For The First Photograph of the sunset I really just tried to capture a beautiful landscape, at a very interesting time of day, and get the most out of the Time that I took the picture as possible. The Influence for my second piece was really the work of Nick Knight with Vogue, and a particular cover that he did in 2003 with kate moss, and trying to recreate a famous music Icon on the cover of Vogue.

Title: Vogue May 2013

Description: The project brief was to create three separate Vogue magazine covers, each based on a colour theme, and to take place form April to June 2013. I tried to use the style very similar to most Vogue magazine covers, and that is to shoot the person on a white back drop. I took most of my inspiration or this project from a particular vogue cover from May 2003, in which Nick Knight photographed Kate Moss in similar vintage David Bowie. I took this photo in front of a plain white background, using indoor lighting, and tried to get the picture as light as possible, and the lighting even, as to not create any shadows, and get the model’s skin as light as possible. In the development of this picture I made the background completely white. I tried to replicate the vogue cover graphics as closely as possible, to make this picture look as real, and authentic as possible.
