Inspiration: The inspiration for my work comes primarily from pieces with realistic elements, but I am often drawn to art that has ambiguous qualities. I often find that the pieces which interest me the most are those which only subtly hint at the artists own inspiration.

Title: Repetition and Routine

Description: In this piece I have painted each individual pixel of a digitally altered photograph. As the pixel size changes, so does the tone of the piece, and by echoing the mathematical precision of the digital image, I hoped to reproduce a life-like painting, with a visible technical process.
