Inspiration: My inspiration is my personal life, and identity, my family, my pets and emotional experiences. I admire work that is accurate and detailed, but that also symbolises deep emotions. Currently, I am studying artwork by J.P Walter, who's artwork is so accurate, that it looks as if it is a photograph. I am also studying artwork by Polaris, who's work is very surreal and colourful. The photographer that I am studying is Whitney Justesen, who is a well known photographer from flickr. I am very inspired by her double exposure images, and other multiple exposures images alike.
Title: Blue Eyed Cat
Description: This is a close-up study of a cat, in the style of J.P Walter. I decided to do this on black paper, to get the effect of the shadow falling on the cat's face. I have used pencil marks to create the texture of the fur, to make it look as if you can just reach out and stroke the cat's fur.
