Inspiration: My current traditional work is inspired by psychological studies and workings of the human mind, culminating in an attempt to cynically represent how we relate to society and each other. Stylistically, these works are heavily influenced by those of Mark Ryden, Troy Brooks and Eric White. I have only been painting digitally for a few years and so am still at the stage of refining my technical ability. These paintings are as realistic as I could achieve. I much prefer digital painting as a medium as it combines the flow and feel of a traditional painting with the ease and precision of a drawing. The paint is both wet and dry, the canvas both large and small, depending on the needs of the artist.
