Inspiration: I am a A level photography student who also studies dance so I use movement as my inspiration for my photographs and look at how shutter speed, lighting and levels can change and add more to the image. I have looked into other photographers work such as Harold Edgerton and Lois Greenfield to gain more inspiration.

Title: Poker

Description: ‘Poker’ is captured using a fast shutter speed to freeze a moment in time. I gained inspiration for this photograph by looking at the old gambling times in the 1930, where images themselves had a misty look to them, because of the atmosphere and lighting the people were in. Therefore I have tried to get across the misty feel to the image by making the image grainy and monochrome.
