Looking Back at the Life Room

Taking the exhibition ‘Looking Back at the Life Room’ at University College London as a starting point, this event looks at the intellectual traditions that formed the life room as a teaching model.
The morning session takes place at UCL with a talk by exhibiting artist Naomi Salaman. The afternoon session is a four-hour life drawing workshop led by Francis Bowyer in the Royal Academy’s historic life room.
The exhibition ‘Looking Back at the Life Room’ at UCL is on display until 11 June.
