Beginning with a cruise down the Thames to Greenwich, this tour led by Owen Hopkins explores the architecture and historical genesis of Hawksmoor’s churches, some of the boldest and most original architectural expressions in eighteenth-century London. At St George-in-the-East, Maxwell Hutchinson joins us to discuss his practice’s recent work there.
Meet at London Bridge City Pier; 10am–4.30pm; public transport and walking are required
