Tom Kundig (of Seattle-based Olson Kundig Architects) redefines the practice of modern architecture. Drawing upon a deep devotion to craft, Kundig’s designs unite nature with man-made materials, transforming steel and concrete into rich tactile experiences. In his lecture he illustrates how the role of place, materials and setting combine to create his bold but sensitive designs.
