One of the leading figures of ‘high tech’ architecture, Michael Hopkins founded his practice with his wife, Patty, in 1976, and found acclaim with a number of early works. Subsequent projects such as the Mount Stand at Lord’s and new opera house at Glyndebourne have seen the practice weave their contemporary architectural language into historic contexts with a sensitivity to materials and forms also seen in their acclaimed Olympic Velodrome. Michael Hopkins reflects on his career with Paul Finch.

This event is part of an on-going series of informal evenings with Senior Academicians reflecting on their careers and revealing their thoughts on architecture then and now.
