Australian architect Sean Godsell has built an international reputation for his exquisitely crafted private houses and ‘compassionate infrastructure’ projects such as the Park Bench House and Bus Shelter House that provide refuge for displaced persons in the urban environment. From his houses in the country to his new Design Hub for RMIT University in Melbourne, he often employs an inventive use of materials to create an elegant skin that becomes a filter for the external environment and blurs the distinction between inside and out.
