Marcio Kogan practised as a film director before turning to architecture and founding StudioMK27 in the early 1980s. Now one of Brazil’s most acclaimed architects, Kogan’s work draws from the tradition of Brazilian modernism which he combines with a filmmaker’s flair for detail and the dramatic. The stunning V4 House in Sao Paulo was the setting for Peep, his intimate series of video mini-dramas on show at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.

Marcio Kogan discusses his practice's work with colleagues Mariana Simas and Diana Radomysler.

6.30–7.45pm, followed by a drinks reception
