Same old, same old by Blue Firth, 2013. Royal Academy of Arts Installation shot by Louise Haywood-Schiefer Living Stains presents an hermetic journey through London, exploring the reverberations of architecture and poetic narrative.
Performance
Inspired by Surrealism, Alchemy and the Tarot, Magick Concrète will perform a live audio documentary using field recordings from places in the vicinity of the Royal Academy.
Discussion
Following the performance, John Firth, Mark Pilkington and Andy Sharp will discuss the art, science and practice of developing creative, magical engagements with architecture and place. See below for more information about the contributors.
This event coincides with Blue Firth's Architecture Space exhibition, Same old, same old
A limited number of tickets will be available on the door of the event from 6pm.
6.30–8pm, followed by a drinks reception

John Firth is an Hon. Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Mark Pilkington is the author of Mirage Men and Far Out: 101 Strange Tales from Science's Outer Edge. He also runs Strange Attractor Press and makes music with Magick Concrète, Raagnagrok, The Asterism and others. More info at www.radionicworkshop.co.uk
Andy Sharp runs English Heretic, an organisation dedicated to the commemoration of tragic figures and the exploration of occult landscapes. Since 2003, English Heretic has released numerous records and books including two volumes of Wyrd Tales: A New English Heretic Library Reader in 2007 and 2011. He completed his MSc in Neuroscience in 2011.
