Leonardo da Vinci once said, 'painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.' RA poet in residence Pele Cox curates an evening of readings evoking Hockney’s strong links to poetry through performances of works by the Brothers Grimm, Constantine Cavafy, Stephen Spender, William Blake and Walt Whitman.
