Humphrey Ocean RA is showing a new series of paper portraits entitled, A handbook of modern life at the National Portrait Gallery, from 23 November 2012 to 21 July 2013. He was elected a Royal Academician in 2004 and RA Schools Professor of Perspective earlier this year. Known for his portraiture of friends, family and celebrities he invites Royal Academy Patrons into his studio for a private insight into his practice.
