East London
Patrons will have the chance to visit two cutting edge studios in East London. First stop is artist studio Troika, founded by Eva Rucki, Conny Freyer and Sebastien Noel in 2003. Their work has been exhibited, amongst others, at the Victoria & Albert Museum London, The Art Institute of Chicago, Tate Britain and MoMA New York. Second stop is the studios of husband and wife, Martino Gamper and Francis Upritchard. Upritchard represented New Zealand at the 2009 Venice Biennale while Gamper’s practice engages in a variety of projects from exhibition design, interior design, and the design of mass-produced products for the international furniture industry.
