Australia Family Morning
5 October 2013
8.45–10.30am
Main Galleries and Fine Rooms
Patrons and their families are invited to join us for a morning of art and activities inspired by the autumn exhibition, Australia. This fun and inspiring morning will be a fantastic way to start the weekend, with private access to the exhibition and short guided tours led by our education experts at the RA. The tours will focus on a few themes and key works in the exhibition, provoking young exhibition-goers to interpret the exhibition for themselves. There is an opportunity for a creative, hands-on art workshop, led by our highly experienced artist educators, using techniques and themes seen in the exhibition. A light buffet breakfast is available alongside the workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity for Patrons to introduce the younger members of their families to the RA in an inspiring and relaxed atmosphere. The recommended age group is between 5 and 11, but all ages are welcome.
