Byron Wallen 'one of the most innovative, exciting and original trumpeters in the world' (Jazzwise) and Oren Marshall, a pioneer of the acoustic and electric tuba, join forces to explore the legacy of the brass tradition, journeying through fanfare clarion calls and meditative tone poems, via Latin and jazz.

The itinerary for the evenings will be as follows:
6.20pm – Doors will open
7pm – Performance starts
7.45pm – Interval
8pm – Performance resumes
8.45pm – End

Please note: Entry to this event will be granted at 6.20pm. Exhibitions, shop and RA restaurant close at 6pm on Saturdays. No concessionary rate. This ticket is not part of the Friends of the Royal Academy subscription. Friends must purchase the ticket for the full price of £7. Complimentary drink consists of a choice of gin and tonic, ginger beer or Sicilian lemonade.
