Sculpture and Architecture: The Contest to Control Space and Meaning
RA Forum
26 November 2009
At the Geological Society, Piccadilly
Architecture and sculpture vie for attention in the public realm. With the help of Sarah Crellin, Eric Parry RA, Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier and considering the fraught case of Jacob Epstein's depictions of the human body on Zimbabwe House, this forum investigates the strategies of each practice and their critical and complementary relationships. Chaired by Wild Thing exhibition curator Dr Richard Cork.
6.30–8 pm; £7/£4 reductions (includes a drink)
