South African architect, Peter Rich, is one of the leading proponents of a contemporary African architecture that fuses modernism with a tradition born from a deep understanding of African iconography and vernacular. In his lecture, he presents an array of projects that are deeply embedded in time and place promoting a truly sustainable architecture with a lasting legacy.
