Fundraising Events

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Royal Academy’s fundraising events in 2012; the Schools Annual Dinner & Auction, the Summer Exhibition Preview Party and RA Now.

These events were a huge triumph, raising in excess of £2.5 million. This is an incredible achievement and will benefit the Royal Academy enormously. The Royal Academy is entirely independent, receiving no public funding, so our fundraising events are invaluable in enabling us to secure the funds necessary to continue to provide a strong, clear voice for art and artists. The money raised will go far in continuing the work of the RA Schools, the Academy’s exciting and important Exhibitions & Education programme and the fundraising targets of the Burlington Project.
