The ancestral home of the Earls of Pembroke since 1544, Wilton House is today inhabited by the eighteenth Earl and his family. Much of the building we see today is the work of Indigo Jones and John Webb after a fire in 1647 destroyed most of the original Tudor house. We visit the magnificent state rooms and explore the impressive art collection which includes works by Van Dyck, Rubens, Reynolds and Brueghal.
