Westminster Abbey

24 July 2009

After a personal welcome from the abbey’s clergy, we are treated to a special tour of this famous royal abbey led by one of the vergers. The building, initiated by Henry III in 1245, is one of the most important Gothic buildings in England, and houses tombs and monuments of key figures in history. We also have special access to the abbey’s medieval-style gardens for a tour by the head gardener.
