V&A Theatre Archive

10 December 2009

Friends can enjoy an exclusive workshop led by Jane Pritchard, curator of the V&A’s forthcoming exhibition ‘Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes’. The 2010 exhibition examines the origins, development and long-term influence of the Ballets Russes, celebrating the centenary of their first appearance in 1909. Friends have the chance to preview many of the costumes being featured in the exhibition. There is also a chance to view costumes from other periods, and discover how they were designed and constructed.
