Trinity House

Friends Only

31 October 2011

By popular demand, we return to this elegant neoclassical building, home of the Corporation of Trinity House, a venerable maritime institution. We learn about its architect Samuel Wyatt and visit the court room with its grisaille allegories, the dining room with portraits of former Masters, and the magnificent entrance hall which contains Gainsborough Dupont’s group portrait of the ‘Brethren and Officers’, painted in 1794.

3–4.15pm; £23

This event is also taking place on 21 November 2011
