The Grange, Kent

Friends Only

13 February 2013

Augustus Pugin (1812–52) was one of the most influential and prolific architects and designers of the nineteenth century. He came to Ramsgate in 1843 and it was here that he built his family home, The Grange, and produced some of his finest work, including designs for the Houses of Parliament. Our private tour of the house includes the library, dining room and chapel. We also visit St Augustine’s Church, which Pugin built next door.
