By popular demand, we return to Temple Church and Middle Temple. In 1608, James I granted the land and buildings of the Temple to two of England’s four ancient societies of lawyers, the Inns of Court. Friends are given a private guided tour of Temple Church by the Reverend and Valiant Master of the Temple, Robin Griffith-Jones. We also exclusively tour Middle Temple visiting its private Bench apartments and hall, adorned with important historical and royal portraits. By special arrangement, we enjoy lunch in Middle Temple Hall at the end of our tour.
