Syon Park

31 March 2009

Home to the Duke of Northumberland and designed by the architect Robert Adam, Syon House is regarded as one of the finest neoclassical villas in Europe. Originally built in 1547, Syon House was remodelled by Adam in 1766 and it is said that at Syon the Adam style was initiated. On our private visit, we tour Adam’s beautiful interiors including the Great Hall and Long Gallery, and explore the gardens designed by Capability Brown.
