By very special arrangement, Friends are invited to an exclusive viewing of ‘Images of St Paul’s in the 21st Century’ hosted in the Crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral. This is the first exhibition of its kind and is part of a series of events to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the completion of Wren’s great enterprise. More than 50 artists have created original works for the exhibition, including the sculptor Bruce Denny and Royal Academicians Anthony Eyton, David Mach and Anthony Whishaw. All works are for sale with the proceeds going to the St Paul’s Cathedral Foundation. Our evening begins with a chance to independently explore the Cathedral followed by a private drinks reception and viewing of the exhibition with the Dean of St Paul’s, the Right Reverend Graeme Knowles, and RA Chief Executive Charles Saumarez Smith.
Friends Only; 6.30–9pm; £25 (incl. wine); St Paul’s Cathedral, St Paul’s Churchyard, EC4
