Designed by the Scottish architect James Gibbs in 1726, St Martin-in-the-Fields is one of the most significant ecclesiastical buildings in the English-speaking world. On our guided tour, we learn about Gibbs’ original Baroque design, explore the church and crypt and go behind the scenes into the vaults. We also see the Royal Box where the Hanoverian kings worshipped.
