Built in 1504 and once the English headquarters of the crusading Knights Hospitallers, St John’s Gate explores the history of the Order of St John, whose origins date back to eleventh- century Jerusalem. We explore historic rooms including the Council Chamber, Old Chancery, Chapter Hall, Priory church, Norman crypt and museum.
