St Bartholomew’s Hospital

Founded in 1123, Barts is the only medieval hospital in London still standing on its original site. Our private tour led by the hospital’s archivist includes the Great Hall, with its portraits by William Llewellyn and Sir Joshua Reynolds, the fifteenth-century church and the Grand Staircase where Hogarth’s vast paintings hang.
