Established in 1868 by a group of writers and artists, the Savile Club is housed in an eighteenth-century house in the heart of Mayfair, and conceals some of the most exquisite French interiors to survive in London. We learn about the unique architecture of this building and the club’s past members, which include Thomas Hardy and Rudyard Kipling.
