Royal Ballet School, Richmond

Friends Only

26 October 2011

To complement the exhibition Degas and the Ballet: Picturing Movement , we privately tour the Royal Ballet’s Lower School at the Grade I listed White Lodge in Richmond Park. Built by architect Roger Morris for King George II as a hunting lodge, we learn about the history of the building and the development of Classical Ballet from curator Anna Meadmore. We also visit the White Lodge Museum, the first dedicated ballet museum in the UK.
