Restoration House is a city mansion that provides a fascinating architectural jigsaw puzzle. So called because Charles II stayed here on his return from exile in 1660, our tour with the current owners includes an impressive collection of furniture, pictures and objects. In the afternoon we tour the city of Rochester and learn about its connections to Charles Dickens.
