Originally built in the nineteenth century, Polesden Lacey was remodelled in 1906 by Ambrose Poynter for the Hon Mrs Ronald Greville, a well-known Edwardian hostess. On our private tour we learn about Mrs Greville’s famous parties and see her collection of fine paintings, furniture and porcelain. In the afternoon we visit Hannah Peschar’s Sculpture Garden and explore the dramatic display of sculpture and ceramics in a woodland water-garden.
