The Palace of Westminster, built during the nineteenth century by the architect Sir Charles Barry, is home to around 8500 works of art. We learn about the collection and visit the State Apartments, including the House of Commons and Lords Chamber. We also visit the Prince’s Chamber, and the Royal Gallery, decorated with two vast paintings by Daniel Maclise RA.
