Olympic Stadium and Parklands. Copyright Pamela McHutchon. Friends tour the site of the 2012 Olympic Games to learn about the exciting transformations taking place in East London. During our tour, we circumnavigate Olympic Park and from the coach see the Olympic Stadium, the Aquatics Centre, Broadcasting and Media Centre and the Velodrome. We also visit Greenwich and see how this historic setting will play its part in hosting many events.
Please note, as the Olympic Park is still a building site, we will be circumnavigating the site from the coach with the opportunity to visit the viewpoint on the Greenway on foot. We do not have access to any of the buildings.
