Mercers' Hall

25 February 2010

Incorporated by Royal Charter in 1394, Mercers’ Company is the premier Livery Company of the City of London. The most famous member of the company was Richard Whittington, forever immortalised as Dick Whittington. On our exclusive tour, we explore the hall’s extensive collection of stained glass, wood carvings, sculptures and tapestries. We also learn about the collection of sixteenth-, seventeenth- and nineteenth-century paintings, including works by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer, W. L. Wylie and Philip de László.
