Founded in 1841 by Thomas Carlyle, the London Library houses more than one million books and periodicals from the sixteenth century to present day, covering over 2,000 subjects. Our private tour includes the art and architecture book collection and an opportunity to explore The Times collection, which includes newspapers dating back to 1813.
