Dr James Yorke leads Friends on an exclusive tour of this splendid building, considered to be the greatest surviving London townhouse. Commissioned in 1825 by the ‘Grand Old’ Duke of York, the exterior was mainly designed by Benjamin Wyatt. On our tour we explore the Louis XV interiors, the enormous ornate staircase and the Grand Hall.
