Lambeth Palace

Friends Only

23 January 2013

We visit Lambeth Palace, the London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury, with its thirteenth-century vaulted crypt and Tudor gatehouse. It was restored in the 1820s by Edward Blore, who also worked on Buckingham Palace, and our private tour includes the state rooms and chapel, the Great Hall, with its hammer-beam roof, and paintings by the late Leonard Rosoman RA.
